We made it on the plane and are awaiting takeoff from Dulles on our way to Paris, then a connection to Dar es Salaam.
It was a long morning finishing clearing out the house for our Airbnb guests who will stay while we're gone. The attic is packed, but we got it done. (And fortunately have a neighbor who will clean before they arrive!)
We're stoked to be on our way after a year of planning, and so grateful to the many family and friends who helped make it possible.
