Great Things

Dear little Xavier is at my great aunt Elfa's house rocking in a little rocking chair that originally belonged to my grandma's grandparents. (I think that is how it goes). So, this makes it Xavier's great great great grandparents. Could that really be right? It may be one more great. Anyway, I am just amazed thinking about what that chair must have seen.

It is of good construction! One can even see where the chair arms have been worn where, in the past, it had been turned upside down and pushed around as a walker.

Xavier looks like such a little man in this picture--complete with his 1920s hair!
