Have Passport, Will Travel

Despite all our preparation, it still ended up being a slightly frustrating ordeal when we went to apply for Xavier's passport. Nonetheless, the document arrived today, shiny and new (and in under two weeks)!

He's now set to jet off with us on some future foreign adventure! Congratulations, my little boy!

    I'm embarrassed that my under-1-year-old nephew has a passport and I don't. One of these days I'm getting to India, and I'll have a grand old time. Take that, Xavier. :D

    Any trips planned? (kids' are only good for 5 years, right?)

    I still love looking at my passport pic from when I was 6 mn old, coming back from Japan. Just a calm, chubby cheeked sleeping baby, clueless that I would not be out of the country again for another 30 years.
